Satya International is a family; we value our customer and support our people more than anything. This company was started in 1995. In these many years of our service, we have supported Women empowerment, generated employment for many and focused on community growth.
We are people who work for nature; we are engaged with trading of wild crafted herbs since our establishment and are dealing about 80 types of herbs available in Nepal. These herbs and forest products are mainly used in preparation of herbal medicine and cosmetics, dry flowers as decorative products whereas the essential oils are mainly used in preparation of perfumes and aromatherapy products and medicines too.
To support the local farmers, we are promoting cultivation of Essential oil producing crops as cash crops, also, in community forestry areas too. We provide technical as well as marketing support to the farmers engaged in production of essential oils. Our major cultivated products is Jatamansi/Spikenard Oil (Nardostavhys jatamansi) for now, we have plans to expand in near future;

Description: Shrub or small tree. Leaves usually pinnate, Leaflets 2-6 pairs, elliptic-lanceolate, petiole and rachis winged. Flowers 3-4 mm in diametre, small, yellow, in panicles. Fruit 4-5 mm in diametre, ovoid, pale red. Seeds 2 mm in diametre, oval and dark.

Medicinal Properties: The bark, fruits and seeds are extensively used in indigenous system of medicine as a carminative, stomachic and anthelmintic. The stem has exhibited hypoglycaemic activity in the preliminary trials. The bark is pungent and used to clean teeth. The fruits and seeds are employed as an aromatic tonic in fever and dyspesia. An extract of the fruits is reported to be effective in expelling roundworms. Because of their deodorant, disinfectant and antiseptic properties, the fruits are used in dental troubles, and their lotion for scabies. The essential oil is said to possess antiseptic, disinfectant and deodorant properties.

Description: Herb; root greyish brown cylindrical, 10-25 cm long. Leaves 5-10 cm long, tip rounded, sub-radical, serrate. Flowers many in spikes.

Uses: Roots are bitter. Cathartic, stomachic, laxative, purgetive in large dose, digestive, anthelmintic, anti-inflammatory, cardiotonic, galactopurifier, antipyretic and antiperiodic.

Description: Deciduous shrub or tree. Leaves pinnate; leaflets small, sub-sessile, 9-12 mm long, pale green; stipules minute. Flowers greenish yellow, racemed on the branches, male flowers many; female flowers few. Fruit obscurely 6-lobed.

Uses: Useful in harmorrhage, diarrhoea and dysentry, in combination with iron used for anemia, jaundice, dyspepsia, colic, flatulence, hyperacidity, peptic ulcer, skin diseases, leprosy, leucorrhoea, menorrhagia, cardiac disorders, intermittent fevers and greyness of hair.

Description: Erect herb. Leaves opposite, broadly lanceolate, acute, lower often much larger, sometimes petioled. Flowers green, yellow and tinged with purple.

Uses: Plant is bitter, tonic, stomachic, febrifuge, antipyretic, sudorific, antiperiodic and anthelmitic. It is useful in skin disease, dipsia and gastropathy.

Trade Terms of Satya International

We will use most convenient and efficient mode of shipping. Normally goods are shipped via air freight but, upon request and with sizeable weight and volume we can arrange for sea shipping. For order below 10 Kg we advise buyers to use UPS/DHL door to door service. Retailers may order in small quantity for which we will make delivery up to the door step of the clients. Please write to us for details. Insurance can be arranged upon request.

Mode of Payment offered by Satya International

We accept bank telegraphic transfer and bank draft. We will give you address/account for such payment once order is negotiated. For large order customers may want to open L/C . Order exceeding US$ 1000 we need an advance of 25% for first time buyers.

Price Validity of Satya International

Once order is confirmed, the price will not change.
