Community production center is a social enterprise dedicated to providing hands on skills to women in the rural areas of Nepal with the objectives of enabling them to be economically self sustained.
Within a short period of establishment more than 100 women are working with CPC with a regular monthly income of more than 5000 rupees by just providing their spare time.
Objectives:
Out objectives is to provide better opportunities of getting skills and earnings for the women in rural Nepal. Nepalese society still practices patriarchal dominance and we believe that financial independence creates a better position for the women to make better decisions for their kids and family.
Goal:
Our major goal is to provide skill training to more and more women from different communities in Nepal and help them grow as entrepreneurs.
Whom we help:
Most of the women working with CPC are regular housewives in the rural areas with very low literacy rate. Most of their daily routine is to look after their kids and family, feed them, look after the livestock and work in the fields.
Even with their daily busy routine they are more than willing to find time to learn some skill for earning so that they can contribute to the family financially.
CPC provides trainings on skill development mostly on producing Nepalese handmade items such as;
Woolen products (Hats, socks, Leggings, Gloves, Sweaters, Cushion Cover etc.),
Felt items (Rugs, Coasters, Pot stands, Bags etc.)
Pashmina(Shawls, Scarf and Blankets)
Nepali Paper Products,
Wheat Stick Art
After CPC provides the training and when women are ready for production, CPC provides all the required raw materials for the women to produce goods on the basis of their training. CPC does weekly collection where women drop off the products they have produced in a week time and get paid.

Depends on the amount of the order.
This is a community product, this is why we do not have specific labeling and packaging.
We will use most convenient and efficient mode of shipping. Normally goods are shipped via air freight but, upon request and with sizeable weight and volume we can arrange for sea shipping. For order below 10 Kg we advise buyers to use UPS/DHL door to door service. Retailers may order in small quantity for which we will make delivery up to the door step of the clients. Please write to us for details.
Insurance can be arranged upon request.
We accept bank telegraphic transfer and bank draft. We will give you address/account for such payment once order is negotiated. For large order customers may want to open L/C .
Once order is confirmed, the price will not change.
